Dr. Abdelrahman Altigani is a highly accomplished Senior Lecturer in Cyber Security at De Montfort University (DMU) Dubai, with over 16 years of profound expertise in teaching, research, and IT management. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Technology Malaysia, Dr. Altigani is renowned for his unwavering commitment to educational excellence. His teaching experience spans a multitude of computing modules, including Emerging topics in Security, Endpoint Security, Operating System Concepts, Database Applications, Systems Analysis and Design, OOP, Fundamentals of Programming, and more. Notably, he has consistently earned an overall rating of 5.0/5.0 in student evaluations on his lecturing skills. Dr. Altigani is a prolific researcher and an active member of IEEE and ACM. He has authored 17 research papers published in high-impact Q1 and Q2 journals. His dedication to research was recognized with the "Best Paper" award at the IEEE conference ICCEEE2013. His current research interests encompass Cryptography, Cyber Security, Steganography, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Wireless Sensor Networks. Dr. Altigani has been honored with the International Doctoral Fellowship Scholarship three times, demonstrating his outstanding academic achievements and contributions to the field. He also earned a research grant from the Deanship of Scientific Research (DSR) at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (IAU). His expertise extends beyond academia, with significant experience in Information Security and IT. Dr. Altigani has played a pivotal role in various system design and implementation projects in both academic and industrial settings.
