Daniel has over 20 years of experience in research, teaching and practice. He has a Higher Education Teaching certificate from Harvard University, a PhD from UAE University and a master’s degree from the FUTA, Nigeria. He is the author of 11 Scopus-indexed journal papers and book chapters with MDPI, Emerald and Springer. He is also the author of over 20 scientific conference papers presented in France, Malaysia, Switzerland, USA and Japan.

He is the Module Leader for Architecture Technology and Environment (ATE), and mentors undergraduates in the Architectural Space and Context (ASC) course across Levels 1 and 2. His teaching approach combines Active Learning Strategies and task-based learning to create a vibrant learning atmosphere. He also serves as an international board member of the Zero Energy Mass Custom Home Network (ZEMCH) and Co-Director of the ZEMCH UAE Centre, driving international design sustainability and research collaboration.

Daniel’s research interests and expertise include sustainable and NetZero design, innovative building technologies, stakeholder- and human-centered design, and housing affordability.
