Cynthia Alex is a seasoned professional with a diverse background spanning over ten years in both industry and academia. Currently serving as the Year One Leader for Architecture at De Montfort University, Dubai, Cynthia is deeply committed to shaping the next generation of architects through innovative teaching methods. 

With a strong research focus on Sustainable Architecture & Regenerative Design, Cynthia brings a multitude of knowledge and expertise to her role. Her academic journey includes completing a Masters in research from CEPT University, India where she delved into the intricacies of Thermal Comfort in air-conditioned spaces, reflecting her dedication to advancing sustainable architectural practices. 

In her capacity as a lecturer, Cynthia is passionate about bridging the gap between academia and the industry. Her commitment to excellence is evident in her supervision of numerous design projects and mentorship of undergraduate students, guiding them towards academic success and professional growth
